In this talk, we will investigate a generalized Sasa-Satsuma equation introduced by Geng and Wu. Darboux transformation and soliton solutions including hump-type, breather-type solitons for the generalized Sasa-Satsuma equation are constructed. This is a joint work with HQ Sun.
