We study a symplectic Reidemeister number and its zeta function of a symplectic diffeomorphism on representation variety induced form braid actions. We show that the symplectic zeta function and the symplectic Reidemeister zeta function from the dynamical system point of view are radicals of rational functions for periodic braids.
