In the talk  he will provide  a brief introduction to  Random Matrix Ensembles and "linear statistics" a random variable that frequently appears in the applications of random matrix theory. In the Hermitean case, and  for a particular linear linear statistics, he shows showthat the associated orthogonal polynomials and the recurrence coefficients is related to a particular Painleve III.
