Abstract: | 报告一题目:On the free boundary problem of 3-D incompressible Euler equations 报告人:Zhang Ping 报告时间:2008年3月24日(星期一)下午3:30~4:30 Abstract: In this paper, we consider in 3-D the motion of a general inviscid, incompressible fluid with a free interface which separates the fluid region from the vacuum. We assume that the fluid region is below the vacuum and there is no surface tension on the free surface. Its global regularity in 3D is a Clay Millennium Prize problem and of course important for analysts and phisicans because of its possible relationship to turbulence. In this talk, we will give a brief review of known analytic results on 3D Navier-Stokes equations and discuss the classical successful techniques and trategies that analysts used.
