In this talk we discuss the extension problem of holomorphic functions or d-bar closed forms in a complex manifold. The main tool is to use the L2  d-bar Cauchy problem to study the the existence and regularity for the tangential Cauchy-Riemann complex.When the manifold has positive curvature or has a product structure, we extend the classical Hartogs-Bochner theorem to complex manifolds with many applications
