Abstract（摘要）: In these lectures, I'll explain the main technical difficulties related to the construction of solutions for the non-homogeneous Boltzmann equation, for non cutoff cross sections. I'll present two frameworks where one can get local or global solutions. For large weak type solutions, this was a joint work with Cédric Villani. For small classical solutions, near equilibrium, this was a joint work with Yoshinori Morimoto, Seiji Ukai, Chao-Jiang Xu and Tong Yang.
