Abstract:  We study the Dirichlet and Neumann initial-boundary value problems for strongly degenerate parabolic-hyperbolic equations. We suggest the notions of entropy solutions for these problems and establish the uniqueness of entropy solutions. The existence of entropy solutions is also discussed.
