Abstract:

 We consiser an initial boundary value problem for the heat equation whose heat conductivity is piecewise continuous and moving in

time. We show how to recover this surface of discontinuity from the local measurement of the boundary without using the knowledge of the initial
data. We also show the numerical computation. This is a joint work with P. Gaita, O. Poisson, S. Siltanen and J. Tamminen.
