In this talk, I will present some results on determining the number of stability switches for a general delay differential equation and then apply the results to a delayed IGP model.  By analyzing a rather simple delayed intraguild predation model, which combines both the predator-prey relation and competition, we show that delay in intraguild predation models  can induce stability switches. In addition, we show the IGP model exhibits three types of bistability  and chaos.
