Hyperbolic manifolds and hyperbolic algebraic varieties are one of the important classes in complex geometry and several complex variables.  One of the tools to study complex hyperbolicity is Nevanlinna theory. In this talk, I will give a survey about the techniques and development in Nevanlinna Theory and complex hyperbolicity. My emphasis will be on the geometric side of the theory.
