In the first part of the talk, we present a boundary rigidity result (joint with J.E. Fornaess) at strongly pseudoconvex points, whose proof relies heavily on iteration theory. In the second part of the talk, we study the local dynamics near the Wolff point on the ball, where the Burns-Krantz boundary rigidity theorem plays a key role.
