I will talk some blow-up results for semilinear wave equations with space dependent damping. Specifically, we will show the solution will blow up in a finite time when the nonlinear power is less than or equal to the Strauss exponent, when the coefficients of the damping is scattering. This talk is based on the joint work with Mengyun Liu, Ziheng Tu and Chengbo Wang.
