In this talk, I will introduce our recent work on transfer learning with its applications in bioinformatics. I will first briefly present two of our recent transfer learning methods and then present a cross-species data analysis method for mouse-to-human inference. Specifically, I will present a Cross-species gene set enrichment analysis method, which aims to predict enrichment p-values for a target human gene set based only on mouse gene expression datasets.
