In Low and Middle Income Countries, low-cost medical imaging systems are mostly feasible for local clinics, due to financial issue and lack of infrastructure. Algorithmic assist bridges cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) technology and accelerating computational platform with the conventional low-cost systems, which embeds high-quality or tissue-specific information into the original outputs. In this talk, model-driven and data-driven approaches respectively demonstrate the effectiveness to reinforce the conventional Sonography and low-field MRI as two examples.
