Abstract:

The Schrödinger flows on the compact Hermitian symmetric space U/K is gauge equivalent to the nonlinear Schrödinger equations associated to U/K. In this talk, we will discuss Darboux transformations, Permutability formula and scaling transform for the Schrödinger flows on U/K. Cauchy problem for both rapidly decaying initial data and smooth periodic data is solved. Explicit soliton solutions are constructed. This is a joint work with Hsiao-Fan Liu and Chuu-Lian Terng.
