Higher-dimensional Heegaard Floer homology (HDHF) is a model for the Floer theory of symmetric product spaces. We show how it defines a link invariant analogous to Khovanov homology. We also show the relation between HDHF and various Hecke algebras. (The talk is based on joint works with Ko Honda, Roman Krutovski, Eilon Reisin-Tzur, and Yin Tian)
